Join Southern Launch and Australian Astronaut, Katherine Bennell-Pegg at the Port Lincoln Careers Roadshow. Gain insights into the Australian space industry and learn the basics of flight mechanics as you build and launch a bottle rocket of your own design.

How: You can register online or on the day, by visiting the Southern Launch booth,
at the CSIRO Mission Operations Centre.
Spaces are limited so we recommend signing up early to avoid disappointment.

Across the day Southern Launch will also be running our immersive experience with the support of the CSIRO MOC.
Participants wear a haptic feedback vest and noise cancelling headphones while watching a short video featuring launch footage from the 2024 SR75 mission.
Be inspired by the beauty and possibilities of space while enjoying stunning visuals, an immersive soundscape and the deep rumbling of an actual launch in your chest.
