Work experience program

We are excited to share that we are now accepting applications for our 2026 Work Experience program!

When: June 23-26, 2026.
Where: Southern Launch HQ in Adelaide.
Who: Year 10 or 11 Students.

• Careers in Space Workshop

• Introduction to rockets

• Aerostructures workshop

• Flight systems workshop

• Industry excursions - we visit other businesses in the SA space industry

• Flight safety analysis and regulatory approvals workshop

• Manufacture your own rocket

• Rocket launch!

Who are we looking for?

High school students with a passion for space! Throughout the week students will learn about aeronautical engineering, flight safety, media and communications, space law and avionics systems.

How to apply

Send an email to media@southernlaunch.space telling us a little bit about yourself, and why you are interested in space and space mission services.

Be sure to include the number 1 question you'd love to ask the Southern Launch team. (This is the main way selections will be made, as only a small number of places are available).
